9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Challenge
Join us at the Maxwell Fitness Center for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Challenge, September 7–11, as we honor and remember the firefighters and first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. The challenge symbolizes the 110 stories, approximately 2,200 steps, that firefighters climbed in the World Trade Center. Participants will have two hours to complete the climb on the stair climbers at the Maxwell Fitness Center. Those who successfully complete the challenge will receive a USAA towel. Participants who complete the full climb while carrying a 40-lb ruck for males or 20-lb ruck for females will also be entered into a drawing for the grand prize. To participate, visit https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050545ABAD2AA3FA7-65160800-911 and select an available time slot for the challenge. Upon completion, participants must take a photo of the stair climber showing their completed climb and email it to frederick.shelby.ctr@us.af.mil. Results and the grand prize winner will be announced on Monday, September 14 at 1200. Join us in taking on this meaningful challenge as we honor the fallen and Never Forget.
